Occupational therapy can benefit individuals recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or experiencing difficulties with daily activities. If you’re unsure whether occupational therapy is right for you, contact us for a consultation.
During your first visit, our therapist will conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your needs and goals. This includes discussing your medical history, current challenges, and lifestyle. Based on this assessment, we will create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Although not required to start outpatient services in Vermont, our preference is communication with your primary care doctor prior to start of services. You primary care physician will then review and authorize the therapy plan of care within 30 days of your Evaluation.
The number of sessions needed varies from person to person and depends on several factors, including the nature and severity of your condition, your overall health, and your treatment goals. During your initial consultation, our therapist will assess your condition and provide you with a personalized treatment plan. While some individuals experience relief after just a few sessions, others may require ongoing care for more chronic issues. Our goal is to provide you with the most efficient and effective care to help you achieve long-lasting results. Your progress will be continually monitored and adjusted as needed throughout your treatment plan.
In-home therapy allows you to receive professional therapy services, customized to your home environment needs, as well as your physical and mental needs for support. Our therapists bring all necessary equipment and tailor the therapy sessions to your home environment, making it more convenient and relevant to your daily functioning needs.
In-home therapy offers numerous benefits, including convenience, personalized care, and a comfortable environment. It eliminates the need for travel, reduces stress, and allows the therapist to address specific challenges in your home setting.
We accept and are in-network with traditional Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Vermont Medicaid, and Out of Network for supplemental plans such as MVP or alternate secondary Insurances.
Please contact us with your insurance information, and we’ll help determine your eligibility and any out-of-pocket costs for outpatient services.
To prepare for your in-home therapy sessions, ensure you have a safe and clutter-free space where the therapist can work with you. Your therapist will provide any additional instructions based on your individual treatment plan.
Our licensed and experienced therapists adhere to the highest standards of care. We regularly update our practices based on the latest research and guidelines in occupational therapy. Additionally, we follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to protect our clients and staff.
